Project Name: Cuban Power Plant Renovation Project

Working condition: open seawater cooling circulation system, backwash pipeline.

Application description: The four-way butterfly valve was a brand-new product that obtained the national invention patent after detailed research and design through the investigation of the actual working conditions of the Cuban power plant in 2009.

Before the transformation of the Cuban power plant, the old four-way butterfly valve produced in a certain European country had been used. Due to the wrong material selection, seawater erosion was very serious. The valve is replaced approximately every 6 months. It seriously affected the normal operation of the system and also consumed a lot of money and manpower. The four-way butterfly valve we developed in 2010 was successfully installed, debugged, and operated. It has been ten years since it is still operating well. Received unanimous praise from Cuban power plants.
